Check-in baggage

Thai Airways moved from a weight-based to a piece-based system on many international routes from March 2026: Economy Standard/Saver includes one 23 kg bag, while Full Flex/Flexi fares include two 23 kg bags.

Important note

Each checked bag is capped at 158 cm total dimensions — pre-purchasing extra baggage online (at least 24 hours ahead) is cheaper than paying at the airport.
