Best Credit Cards for Flight Booking in 2026 — Ranked by Live Offers
Which card issuers had the most flight offers on Indian booking sites in late October 2026, on which sites, and what the caps and minimums actually were.

"Which credit card is best for booking flights?" has no single answer, because the value of a card for flights depends on which booking sites and airlines are running offers for it at the moment you book. Rather than ranking cards on annual fees or lounge access — which we do not track here — this guide answers a narrower, practical question: on 29 Oct 2026, which card issuers had the most flight offers listed in the Deal4Flight dataset, on which sites, and what did those offers actually say?
We counted 38 live credit card flight offers from 20 issuers and card networks. The ranking below is by number of listed offers, which is a proxy for how often a card is likely to have something usable — not a judgement of the card itself. Card features, fees and eligibility are set by the issuer; check the issuer's own pages before applying for anything.

6 issuers had offers on three or more different sites: American Express, HDFC Bank, HSBC, AU Small Finance Bank, SBI Card, Visa. Breadth matters because it lets you compare the same card on several sites for the same flight. An issuer with one large offer on one airline is useful only if that airline flies your route.

American Express
American Express credit card flight offers (29 Oct 2026)
Many entries are instant discounts expressed as a percentage with a cap. The cap is what limits the saving on bigger bookings: a 12% offer capped at ₹1,500 is worth the full 12% only up to a ₹12,500 booking; above that it is a flat ₹1,500. Use the cap, not the percentage, to compare offers on expensive tickets.
International-only and premium-card offers
6 of the listed card offers apply only to international bookings. Several are tied to specific premium cards or airline memberships (for example a named Platinum or affluent card plus an airline loyalty account), which the "Min. booking" column records as eligibility text. If your card is not the named variant, the offer will not apply even if the issuer is the same.
International-only credit card offers (29 Oct 2026)
6 offers pay out in reward points, airline rewards or similar benefits rather than a discount on the fare. Their value depends on how you redeem them, so we do not convert them into rupees. Treat them as a tie-breaker when two cards give the same instant discount.
How to use this when you book
Start with the cards you already hold — applying for a new card for one booking rarely pays off.
Open the issuer page on Deal4Flight to see every live offer for that issuer in one place.
Compare the same flight on two or three sites where your card has an offer; caps and minimums differ.
Check whether an EMI offer needs the EMI option selected, and whether no-cost EMI is offered for your tenure.
Confirm the final payable amount on the payment page before authorising.
The best-offer calculator does the cap and minimum-booking arithmetic for every listed card offer at the fare you enter, and separates out the slab-based and points-based offers whose value it cannot compute.
