Most flight offers in India work on any day inside their validity period. A handful do not: they are valid only when you book — and pay — on a particular weekday. Missing that detail is one of the most common reasons a bank offer is rejected at checkout. This calendar collects every day-specific flight offer that was live in our dataset on 31 Oct 2026, so you can plan the booking day around the card or account you hold.
Out of 129 live offers on that date, 4 carried an explicit weekday restriction in their terms, and one more (Akbar Travels' Wednesday offer) is tied to Wednesday bookings in its description. Everything else in our listings can be used on any day it is valid.
The weekly calendar
| Day | Offers valid only on this day |
|---|---|
| Monday | Offers valid only on this day:No day-specific offer listed |
| Tuesday | Offers valid only on this day:Federal Bank on Cleartrip (FEDDC) |
| Wednesday | Offers valid only on this day:ICICI Bank on Cleartrip (ICICINB); Federal Bank on Cleartrip (FEDDC); Akbar Travels on Akbar Travels |
| Thursday | Offers valid only on this day:No day-specific offer listed |
| Friday | Offers valid only on this day:No day-specific offer listed |
| Saturday | Offers valid only on this day:IDFC First Bank on Ixigo (IXIDFCEMID) |
| Sunday | Offers valid only on this day:AU Small Finance Bank on Ixigo (IXIAUD) |
Read the calendar as "the day you pay", not "the day you fly". The weekday check happens when the payment is processed, which is usually also the booking date. If you start a booking late on Tuesday and finish after midnight, a Tuesday-only offer may no longer apply.

Booking-day offers versus travel-day offers
Some offers restrict the day you travel rather than the day you book. Akasa Air's WEEKEND code, for example, is described as applying to travel from Friday through Sunday for signed-in users booking at least 7 days ahead — so it belongs in a different column of your planning from a Wednesday-only bank offer. Always check which day the restriction refers to before you plan around it.
How to plan around a weekday offer
- Decide the flight first, then check whether a day-specific offer for your card beats the best any-day offer for the same fare.
- If it does, hold off on paying until that day — but compare against the risk of the fare rising in the meantime.
- Watch for minimum booking values that differ between domestic and international bookings.
- Note any weekly usage limit ("once per week") if several people in a group want to use the same card.
- Confirm the offer is still live on its source page on the day you book.
Is waiting for the right day worth it?
Only if the saving is larger than the likely fare movement. For a busy route close to departure, fares can change by more than the value of a bank offer within a day or two, so booking now with an any-day offer can be the better result. For a trip several weeks away, waiting a few days for a stronger weekday offer is lower-risk. There is no rule that fits every route; compare the payable amount on the day you are ready to book against what the weekday offer would give.
Why some bank offers are tied to a weekday
Whatever a bank's reasons for limiting an offer to certain days, the practical effect is that the same card can be worth more on one day than another on the same booking site. The calendar above only shows offers where the weekday rule is written into the terms we recorded; if a bank changes the days, the live calendar page changes with it.
Reading the rules on a weekday offer
- The cut-off time: a booking paid at 11:58 pm and one paid at 12:02 am fall on different days, so finish payment well before midnight.
- Whether the rule is about the booking date or the travel date — they are different restrictions.
- Whether domestic and international bookings share the same days and minimum values.
- Whether there is a weekly or monthly usage cap per card.
- Whether net banking, debit and credit cards from the same bank have different days.
Where a booking needs approval from someone else in the family — for example the card holder is not the traveller — agree the booking day in advance so the payment goes through on the right day. A failed payment that is retried after midnight is a common way to lose a weekday offer.
Combining a weekday offer with a site coupon
A weekday bank code still competes with the site's own coupons for the promo-code slot on most booking sites. On the day itself, compare the bank code with the best any-day coupon for the same flight and pick whichever gives the lower payable amount; the weekday restriction does not by itself make the bank offer the better one.
